Full course description

This seven-part series introduces students to community leadership and how to become an active participant in community activities. Through discovery and experiential learning, students will participate in a variety of activities that teach them how to seek out and obtain opportunities for community involvement and leadership.

 

  •        Seven Week
  •           100% Online
  •       Weekly Assignments
  •            One Optional  Teams/Zoom synchronous class per week (date/time vary and will be noted on class syllabus)  If participant is unable to attend, the class will be recorded for later viewing.

Meet the Facilitator

 

George Needles, III, M.B.A., '12, currently serves as the township manager for Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania.  He is responsible for the administration of policy decisions and directives made by the Board of Commissioners and oversees all department operations. He studied political science and government at Temple University, attained a Bachelors of Science degree in professional studies from Neumann University, and received a Master’s of Business Administration from Drexel University.
